A Cause – A Negativity

A Cause – A Negativity

A positive life can’t be lived with a negative mind and once you assure this, nothing can stop you from achieving the eternal happiness.

People with negative thinking presume that every unfortunate incident is happening to them only and they are the only sufferers when rest of their friends and family are leading a joyous life. They generally tend to relate every incident owing to their luck and feel as the most miserable. But have you ever pondered that these are the negative thoughts coming from within you?

Think of the hopeless and despondent people you have met in your lives and then make a comparison with your life. You would find that your life is better. Negativity is nothing but the state of mind and with persistent inner work; one can change habits of thinking and can turn negative thoughts into positive vibes.

Simple Tips to Overcome Negative Thinking

  • Sometimes negative thinking occurs because you have issues or emotions you need to get out. It’s not good to keep things to yourself, just talk it out as putting things into words gives your thoughts shape and form. That can help you put things into perspective.
  • Be creative as when you find yourself in the maze of negative thoughts.Exploring your emotions through creativity acts like auto-therapy and can elevate your mood.
  • If you surrounded yourself with negative people and negative imagery, you’d probably start to think negatively in turn so step away from the negative environment by taking a walk in the serene and peaceful atmosphere with your loved ones. It would help immensely as time spent distancing yourself from those negative influences can bring you great peace of mind.
  • If you catch yourself visualizing failure, visualize success instead.
  • If you hear yourself using negative words in your conversation, switch to positive words.
  • Instead of saying, “I cannot”, say, “I can”. Most of the time you can, but choose to say “cannot”, due to fear, laziness or lack of self-esteem.
  • Do you repeat negative words and phrases in your mind? Change them to positive ones. Yes, this requires you to be more alert, and to put forth some effort. You want to change negative thinking into positive thinking, don’t you?
  • Allow more positive attitude into your life. Have more faith in yourself and expect positive results. Affirmations and visualization can take you a long way in this direction.
  • Decide that from today, from this very moment, you are leaving negative thinking behind you, and starting on the way toward positive thinking and behaviour.
  • Over thinking leads to negative thoughts so stop contemplating each and every thing. Just remain in present and do not let future or past ruin your mental peace within
  • What we think, we are! We view the world through our predominant mental attitude. If our thoughts are positive, that is fine, but if they are negative, our life and circumstances would probably mirror these thoughts.
If you believe that you are going to fail, you will unconsciously sabotage every opportunity to succeed.
